Perspectives,
an exhibition of small works —
paintings, drawings, ceramics, and sculpture — by thirty-four Midwest artists,
begins Monday, August 25, at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts in
Nebraska City.
Visitors
to the exhibition will be treated to the talented and diverse “perspectives” of
artists Joe Brogrhammer, Kate
Brooke, Roger Bruhn, Judith Burton, Larry Ferguson, Robert Hillstad, Bill
Shaffer, Bryce Speed and many others. Perspectives is selection of compelling
contemporary works ranging from the abstract to realistic representation from
the inventory of Modern Arts Midwest
(MAM).
The public is invited to The Kimmel
Harding Nelson gallery to meet Larry and Judy Roots and artists with works in
the Perspectives exhibition at a
reception on Thursday evening, September 11, from 4:30 to
6:30 p.m.Perspectives will remain on exhibit
through Thursday, October 16,

Inclusive Communities (CFIC) to bring all people from the Omaha and surrounding
communities together to take steps against prejudice and to celebrate their
differences and commonalities.
